Plot Outline:

Inspired by actual events, Rebecca Vega (Jane Seymour) is a woman who has lost her memory. A scar on her forehead depicts a past head trauma, and she suffers from headaches with frightening flashbacks. While attempting to start a new life with her new husband (A. Martinez), she meets a woman (Cathy Lee Crosby) who knew her in her past life as Abbie Stewart. What Rebecca discovers prompts her to search for her past at Fillmore County and to find out who she really is. Upon finding her three children, she is determined to find out why and how she became separated from them. Despite an angry ex-husband (Bruce Davison) desperately wanting her to leave, there is one force keeping her there until the entire truth of her past is revealed, which is the purely unmistakable love for her children.

Commentary by Mary L.

Rebecca's subtle approach to her children after being apart from them so long is most admirable. She truly wants what is best for them, but she must first discover the truth of her questionable past. Once the dreadful incident of the past is revealed to her, she is finally able to fully fight to retrieve back her children. Jane's benevolent quality is definitely quite apparent in this movie, and it proves once again that goodness and truth will prevail.
