Plot Summary:

Jane Seymour stars in this sensual thriller as the cunning target of Peter Weller 's deadly obsession. The moment artist Juan Pablo Castel set eyes on her at his gallery showing, he knew he must have her, touch her, possess her. But as he turns to meet her, she is gone. Obsessed with the ravishing beauty and convinced that she is the only person who, truly, "understands" his work, he soon finds the stunning Maria. Despite her marriage and repeated warnings of disaster, he falls madly in love and their passion consumes his life. As his intense jealousy grows, he becomes tormented to the point of insanity. Realizing what must be done, he takes Maria into his arms for one last fatal embrace.

Commentary by Heléne: Disturbing film but very interesting even if, as an incorrigible fan of Jane Seymour, one does not like the fatal outcome of this voracious passion. Both people marvelously demonstrate the depth of their sadness and the impossibility to maintain such a dangerous relation, one that will lead one or both to madness.
